Refurbishment
Scape is mindful of the need to efficiently and economically refurbish the existing
stock of CLASP and other Consortia system buildings. For this purpose Scape has
established a number of refurbishment works programmes.
The works programmes are based on standing offer arrangements where the contractors
have been selected under public sector rules and procedures. The selection process
has been devised to deliver Best Value and includes both price and performance
elements.
The highest priority is given to the ability of the Contractor to work in occupied
school premises and excellence in project delivery.
Contractors have been allocated regions and where appropriate will act as Principal
Contractor.
