Replacement Window Programme
Scape has developed a system for replacing windows in existing CLASP and other system buildings.
It is based on Kawneer’s AA4001 aluminium windows which features a high quality Syntha Pulvin finish and is thermally broken double-glazing.
The system offers the following benefits :-
Surety – Successfully used for over 15 years it benefits from refinement in use over that
period.
Structural Integrity - The new fixings and framing details are designed to retain the structural integrity
of the original CLASP system and other systems. The programme can be used with
confidence since its performance has been validated by Scape.
Pre-detailed - The documentation includes all the standard detailing and specifications required
for a project. The building surveyor therefore only needs to produce annotated
sketch elevation drawings for a project.
Pre-tendered – Prices are based on a schedule of rates following competitive tenders organised
by Scape under Local Authority rules, this avoids the need for time consuming
individual project tendering.
Minimised Disruption – The system has been designed to allow phasing of projects. The nominated installers
are experienced in working to minimise disruption.
