Hounds Gate is split in two by the A6008 (Maid Marian Way), Chartwell House is on the Castle side of Maid Marian Way which is also a ‘Clear Zone’ area.  We would recommend that public transport is used whenever possible.

 

Park and Ride  various park and ride sites are located along the Northern, Southern and Eastern approaches.  The northern approaches are serviced by the Express Tram System.

On foot from the railway station turn right into Carrington St and continue straight on crossing both Canal St and Collin St using the pedestrian crossings.  Now turn left towards Maid Marian Way walking past the Board Marsh Shopping Centre on the right.  Continue along Maid Marian Way passing St Nicholas Church on the right.  At the pedestrian crossing by the junction with Castle Gate, cross Maid Marian Way.  Turn right, then 1^st left into Hounds Gate, Chartwell House is the 1^st building on the left.  Ring buzzer for access.

 

By Car all routes into the City Centre

Take the A6008 Inner Ring Road, heading for Maid Marian Way.  At the Friar Lane junction follow signs to Nottingham Castle.  As you approach the Castle gates follow the road sharp right into Standard Hill.  An NCP car park is situated on the right by the Rutland Hotel.

 

Walk back to Friar Lane, turning right into Castle Road, Hounds Gate is 1^st on the left, Chartwell House is at the bottom on the right.  Ring buzzer for access.
