Maintenance Study Group
This Group, effectively the CLASP building owners club, was established in the
late 1970's. It provides an effective forum for exchanging information on CLASP
buildings and the latest maintenance techniques.
Since CLASP is a system, benefits are derived from maintenance being carried
out in a systematic way. It is not necessary to keep re-inventing the wheel.
Membership is open to all Members of the Consortium and the benefits are:-
Maintenance Documents and Programmes - This CD provides an authoritative source of maintenance and refurbishment information
for CLASP buildings.
Regularly updated it includes details of standard solutions, information on previous
marks of the system and sources for the supply of components.
Access to the Scape Archive - Scape maintains an archive of handbooks and standard drawings for past Marks
of the System. These are invaluable when any work is to be undertaken on a CLASP
building.
The information it contains saves time in research and the cost and disruption
of opening up the works.
Attendance at meetings - The Group runs well organised meetings at which there are technical presentations
and the exchange of information.
Attendance is eligible for CPD.
